THE BRIGHTON HERITAGE MUSEUM Our Museum has the history of Brighton in photographs. There are the old homes, businesses, some of the pioneers of Brighton, and the beautiful churches. Come learn about the Dodge Stammering School, the only one like it in the United States. Come in and find pictures of your parents or grandparents in the school pictures. See the piece of cap stone from the Washington Monument that belonged to J. E. Andrews, who helped in the final construction of the monument. Come and learn about Brighton's important part in the Underground Railroad, about Brighton's two names, and the Betsey Ann Bell.
